👾 Philodendron rugosum ‘Aberrant Form’
Rare Textured Aroid – Alien Skin, Jungle Weirdness, Collector Gold
This one’s for the real heads. The Philodendron rugosum ‘Aberrant Form’ is a freaky, funky twist on an already rare species — with thick, leathery, textured leaves that look like they’ve been grown on another planet.
Instead of the standard rugosum heart-shapes, this aberrant form throws out mutated, lumpy, crinkled growth, often with deeply veined, distorted foliage that looks like it’s trying to evolve. And honestly? We’re here for it.
🧬 It’s part plant, part prehistoric artefact.
Care Tips:
• Bright, indirect light to keep it thriving
• Likes consistent moisture but hates soggy feet – use a chunky aroid mix
• High humidity keeps that alien texture looking its best
• Slow grower, but totally worth the wait
• Perfect for terrariums, cabinets, or your personal jungle vault
📦 Shipped fully rooted and thriving, grown with love (and a little confusion). Each one has its own strange personality — no two are alike.

Philodendron rugosum ABERRANT form - 12cm/25-35cm
The following aroid mix I would like to share with you is working well for my Philodendron:
- Potting Soil (30%)
- Orchid Bark (30%)
- Perlite (30%)
- Charcoal (5%)
- Worm Castings (5%)
Water thoroughly when watering to mimic tropical jungle conditions. It is best practice to keep the soil humid but never soggy.
