Alternanthera 'Partytime'

Tastes and trends have paved the way for plant pioneers for years. The pink crazy was one that took the plant community by storm in 2020!
Along with other pink variegated plants like the PPP - Philodendron Pink Princess, the Pink Alternanthera 'Partytime' also made it to the top 5 variegated pink plants!
Alternanthera is a genus of flowering plants in the amaranth family, Amaranthaceae. Cultivated varieties are a fast growing, compact plant ideal for borders or rockery in it’s native habitat in the USA. Attractive variegated foliage in shades of pink, green and/or gold and often in red or bronze.
Large splashes of bright pink adorn the leaves of this colorful Joseph's Coat. These plants do appreciate moderate pruning and will reward you with denser fuller growth. Party Time Alternanthera may periodically produce small white Gomphrena-like flowers too in ideal condition.
In my experience normal household humidity is absolutely fine, they like bright indirect light but will tolerate a bit of shade. They LOVE water! The like to keep moist soil and they WILL tell you if they are thirsty, only problem is when they do it will already be too late for some of the suffered leaves.
Hope this helps guys! Love you all Tiny Phone People!
